Dubai Miracle Garden

I’m going to start by saying that if you’re the type of girl that loves pink stuff, glitter, unicorns and Instagram pics, this is the place for you. YES, you NEED to visit this garden because it’s crucial to your Instagram account. LOL just kidding but seriously this place is Instagram gold.  Ok so you’re not that aforementioned girl, should you go? YES.  The garden is absolutely beautiful and worth the visit anddddd if you get bored and you’re not the type to be obsessed with flowers and girly things you can go to their café and have a light lunch or even check out the butterfly garden.  I’d put this on the list of places worth visiting on your trip to Dubai.  The coolest thing about visiting this place is that you can come in the morning or late afternoon and plan another activity all in the same day.

Your Visit to the Garden:

Wake up early in the morning, throw on your springiest outfit and head over to the Dubai Miracle Garden.  Before exploring the garden head over to the café for some yummy snacks and coffee. Trust me you will need the coffee in order to form the stamina to explore this place.

We originally planned to spend an hour here but once we arrived, we were enchanted by the magic of the place. After you finish taking a million pictures in the garden head to the butterfly garden.  There you’ll find over 15,000 butterfly species making this one of the largest Butterfly collections in the world. Nothing can make you feel like you’re in a fairytale more than having thousands of butterflies flutter around you.

Helpful Tips:

  1. Get there early or late in the afternoon!!!!! I can’t stress this enough. This place is a major attraction, and not only does it get packed with tourists, but it also gets really really hot (Hello, it’s the desert)

  1. Plan to spend a couple of hours here, don’t think this is a pop in and pop out scenario, once you get there it’s like little magical elves put a spell on you and before you know it you’re three hours in.

  1. Plan your visit around these times of year. Due to the weather the garden isn’t open all year round it closes after May and reopens in the fall.

  1. Buy your ticket at the garden they have the best rates. You can call to double check prices but for us the tickets were $26 at the box office and it was by far the best price based off my research.

  1. Wear/ Bring a hat and sunglasses. If you don’t want to come out squinting in all your pictures take this advice.

Yes thank you I guess that’s why they call it a Miracle Garden because it’s in the middle of the desert but even cooler is that they use a self sustaining watering system. It causes a funky smell at times but it’s cool that they reuse water.

Yeah it was pretty cool, I believe they only open certain parts of the year because of the heat but the park is a pretty great place to visit if you can.

Your pictures show what an Instagram paradise the Dubai Miracle Garden is. I would gladly make a visit only to check out those beautiful flowers and floral patterns. And 15,000 butterfly species. My 6-year-old would be thrilled. Definitely coming here when I am in Dubai.

Oh yes this is also a child’s paradise and I believe they have some licensing deal with Disney so they will have fun there for sure.

Haha I am definitely not the aforementioned girl, but I still really want to go! The gardens look gorgeous, and I imagine it would be the perfect place to go in the evening for sunset when the temperatures have cooled off a bit. It sounds like it might still be too hot and crowded to be able to relax and get some peace there, but maybe in the early mornings or when it gets really late it would be possible to find a little tranquility in a corner of the gardens – that would be really nice!

Yes I agree. We went early and it started getting crowded by the time we were leaving. The temperatures rise really fast but even so, the grounds are massive so you will be sure to find a little area for some tranquility but I do recommend in the later hours to have cooler weather.

Definitely going to visit these Miracle Gardens next time I go to UAE, they sound amazing. Might have to go by myself though, as I don’t think the husband could last 3 hours there.

Lol yes the guys probably aren’t as excited for the gardens but it’s a great activity to pair up with the desert safari or maybe even a visit to the some of the theme parks just outside of Dubai.
